Setting up Your Personal Profile

The User Settings page in CyberHQ serves as the foundational configuration area where an individual user manages their personal account security, establishes default workspace access, and sets communication preferences.

To configure your individual user settings, follow these instructions:

  1. Navigate to My Account: Click on your name located in the top right-hand corner of the Avertro platform to open the user menu, and then select My Account.
  2. Configure your Details: Within the My Account page, you can view and update the following settings:
  • Accessible Workspaces: View all the workspaces in which you have an assigned user role.
  • Default Workspace: Select which workspace you want to automatically load when you first log into the platform from the drop-down menu.
  • Email Address: View the current email address associated with your user account.
  • Change Password: Update your password securely by entering your old password, typing a new one, and confirming it, before clicking the Change Password button. Your new password needs at least 12 characters and must include upper and lower case letters, a number and a symbol. Changing it signs you out everywhere, on every device, so you will need to sign in again.
  • Custom Signature and Greeting: Create a personalized signature and greeting to be used in your communications.

Save Your Changes: Once you have made your desired updates, click on the Save Changes button to apply them to your profile.

Your active sessions

The Sessions tab on your profile lists every device currently signed in to your account, with its browser and operating system. You can end any one of them, or end all of them at once.

This is worth checking if you have signed in from a shared or personal device and are not certain you signed out. Ending all sessions includes the one you are using, so you will be signed out too.

If you are locked out: more than four failed sign-in attempts within an hour blocks the account. An administrator has to unblock it; waiting does not clear it.
